Caro can't even put into words how glad she is to be home finally. Which isn't something she ever thought she'd feel, honestly. But they're back finally and now she can have some goddamn time to herself. ...Mostly to herself. When she steps off the train she flinches and swears under her breath at the sudden cold. And then her attention snaps up to the pissed off Peacekeeper heading their way. The pissed off Peacekeeper she doesn't recognize at all, with or without the massive scarring on one side of his face. Oh boy.
"Uh, thanks," she says finally. Caro reaches up to rub at her face because goddamn the cold is hell on her scars. This guy must be miserable. "What brings you out in all this?" She stops rubbing her face long enough to gesture vaguely around her. It's fucking cold, okay?
Egg, meanwhile, has finally ambled out of the train and into the freezing cold, which he seems to like okay. He flops down between Caro and Walter and eyes the new person.
